Choose a sentence you particularly like from your current essay draft. Capitalize the first letter of each word in that sentence. Write 200 words explaining why you like that sentence. Explain why that sentence comes in the place of the essay that it does. How does it relate to the sentences in front of it or behind it? Is it a subjective or objective sentence? Does it use any figurative language? If this sentence were a physical sculpture, (which it is, already), what sort of properties would it have? How large would it be? What color would it have? What smell would it have? How would it taste? How would it feel? What sort of voice would speak it?
Pretend that this sentence is about to become a “fortune in a cookie.” Perhaps tweak the sentence so it is more appropriate as a fortune. Copy and paste the sentence on a new document so that it fits on the page about ten times. Make the font as large as one page will allow. Print these sentences out and cut them apart and distribute them around unexpected places on the HVCC campus.
Wow, where do you come up these ideas for assignments? Altough it sounds weird, I have faith that after I complete it i will appreciate its value and understand the concept behind it. It just seems a little abstract. TVH
